The Schizophonics have released “Sweat and Blood,” the second single from their forthcoming album, Burning Floor, out in early 2027 via their new label, Alternative Tentacles. The track drops as the band’s North American tour gets underway, stopping in Atlanta on October 11 at The Earl with support from Descartes a Kant and Dale Crover. Vocalist/guitarist Pat Beers calls the song “a stomping dance workout that lays a fuzzed-out guitar hook over a Motown-inspired beat… an anti-A.I. anthem that stays true to our dance party ethos.”

“Sweat and Blood” follows the previously released single “Black Pleather,” which Vice described as “cranked to pure punk rock velocity.” Made up of Pat Beers, Sarah Linton, and Lety Beers, The Schizophonics have built a reputation for explosive live shows that fuse the raw fury of The Stooges and MC5 with the sweat and showmanship of James Brown and Little Richard. Support throughout the tour rotates between Fever Dog, Descartes a Kant, and Dale Crover.
