Brother Bird, the project of singer-songwriter Caroline Glaser, has released her new album, The Lodge In Miller County, via Easy Does It Records, alongside the new single “Spectacle” featuring Andy Hull. Glaser tours with Hey, Nothing this October, stopping in Atlanta on October 30 at Variety Playhouse. Most of the album’s songs were written during a year of divorce, loss, and discovery, with Rumi’s poem “Guest House” becoming an anchor for the record as Glaser wrote from the perspective of fictional “guests” that let fact and fiction blur together.

Glaser began recording the album with longtime collaborator Owen Lewis before stepping away to regain perspective, then spent the following year reworking the songs with Jamie Martens and Andy Hull. Beyond Brother Bird, Glaser recently wrapped a tour with Manchester Orchestra and has stayed busy with Funambulist, a new project with Kevin Devine, plus a guest vocal spot on Bad Books 2 (Revisited) alongside Hull and Robert McDowell.
