The Hails have announced their sophomore album, Duckpond, out October 23 via ONErpm, alongside the new single “Corruptor” and an accompanying video. The band will support the record with their headline Duckpond Tour this fall, stopping in Atlanta on October 25 at Purgatory at Masquerade, after opening seven shows for Ax and the Hatchetmen. Produced by Brandon Shoop, the album was born out of a summer spent living and writing together in a rented South Florida house after years of working apart across Miami, DC, and Brooklyn.

Frontman Robbie Kingsley says “Corruptor” was written in one sitting after a conversation with his now-fiancée about giving her more attention, with a three-part vocal harmony inspired by the recent passing of Brian Wilson. The Hails previously released the Duckpond singles “Fool” and “Story of You and Me,” and the tour includes stops at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere, LA’s Echoplex, and homecoming shows in Miami and Tampa.
