Montreal’s Truck Violence set the night at Terminal West off with a bang, supporting Lip Critic, Whispers, and Show Me The Body on the second-to-last date of a run wedged in the middle of their full US/Canada headlining tour.
Coming off of their June release, The weathervane is my body via The Flenser, Truck Violence delivered an energetic showing of their unique brand of hardcore/folk chaos. With crowd favorites such as “Jaundiced and reaching for a mother,” and “Guns buried in the front yard,” Truck Violence drew a reaction from the audience solidifying their place as a force to be reckoned with in the genre.
